BBH is seeking an Addictions Counselor.  Job responsibilities include: 1) utilizing patient management skills necessary to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; 2) conducting task orientated and didactic groups to perform therapeutic interventions and to provide one-to-one support for patients as necessary; 3) competency to generate specific and individualized treatment plans related to the patient’s addiction issues; 4) coordination of care with the mental health program for patients who have a dual diagnosis along with completing insurance authorizations and SMART reporting.  Applicants should possess Alcohol and Drug Trainee Employment Authorization or CSC-AD.  Candidates should be able to work Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and flexible to work weekend days.
