The Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for developing and ensuring that rehabilitation services meet the needs of individuals served by the program; oversees the daily program of rehabilitation services; and educates direct care staff on providing rehabilitation services that correlate to the goals identified in the individual’s rehabilitation plan.  Candidate should meet one of the following criteria: LCPC or LIP: Master level or higher and possess licensure. CRC Requirement: Rehabilitation Counselor should be currently certified by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification. CPRP Requirement: Bachelor’s prepared certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner currently certified by the U.S. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
